If the RFU are going to spend zillions commissioing Nike to manufacture state of the art rugby kit, is it too much to insist that the numbers do not start to peel off the shirts at the first sign of the players breaking sweat?
Yes - whoever made the decision to use that type of lettering and method of attachment will be feeling a tad embarrassed - when Ben Youngs came on his numbers were peeling before he'd even made contact
You have to wonder if the newer fabrics don't allow a high enough temperature to have the application of the numbers work. It was unreal seeing so many of the numbers coming off-or ripped off after only a couple of minutes.
